To celebrate the occasion, filmmaker Prashanth Neel announced his next with Jr NTR tentatively called, NTR 31. Likewise, his 31st film is going to be a different attempt. The film marks the first collaboration between Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel, and the announcement is enough to garner buzz.

A stone sculpture, by artist Rita Pereira, has been unveiled at a viewpoint in Vila da Luz, as part of an initiative to pay tribute to Mathias Sandeck, a young Algarve athlete who died in competition in 2019.
Mathias Sandeck, who had dual nationality (Portuguese and German) and had lived in the municipality of Lagos since he was five months old, was part of the National Underwater Fishing Team, and passed away during his participation in the XXXII Euro-African Championship in Denmark. A serious accident occurred on the second day of competition, on August 8, 2019, leading to the death of this young athlete.
